Hi, I'm Lili, short for Liliyas.

My mother thought Lilios, derived from Latin, meant the first flower to bloom in spring.

She combined the two names Lili, and Yas (short for Yasaman, the Jasmine flower) to create Liliyas.

 

I'm a multimedia artist, architect and ceramicist,

trained in traditional fine art as well as advanced architecture and new media.

I enjoy working with my hands; from clay to embroidery to digital fabrication.

I specialize in material research & design, specifically 3D printing with biodegradable materials.

My dream project would be to see the robotic additive manufacturing

of affordable housing using hempcrete for impoverished communities.
